2022 Provenance Regional Series Pinot Noir 6 Pack

Six bottles of 2022 Provenance Regional Series Pinot Noir, a stellar vintage and an excellent way to experience and compare three unique vineyard sites across southwest Victoria.

  • 2022 Ballarat Pinot Noir (x 2)
Solid ruby in appearance, the nose is slightly reticent at first, with air, the earthy nature of the basalt soils presenting as savoury chicory and brooding damson plum. Flashes of game, root vegetables, shiitake broth and structured tannins indicate the age-worthiness and complex future for this wine.
Tom Brushfield, Provenance Wines (May 2024)

  • 2022 Henty Pinot Noir (x 2)
This is both lithe and sinewy. There’s macerated fruit, there’s an earthen aspect, there’s fragrant herbs and a meaty, bloody, rusty character. It doesn’t have a lot of volume but it makes the most of itself. Tannin is emery-board-fine, and length is very good. This is one of those wines that grows on you more and more, the longer you sit with it. It’s understated but it’s complex."
94 Points Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front (Feb 2024)

  • 2022 Geelong Pinot Noir (x 2)
A spicy pinot noir with beetroot notes pushing into earth, red cherry, game and fragrant herbs. It’s very Geelong and it’s very pinot. It’s complex and structured, and the more you look at it the more those earth notes edge forward. It will mature well, no doubt, but this is drinking well now. - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front (Feb 2024)
