2023 Provenance Sinclair Vineyard Pinot Noir

Grown on the southeastern side of Ballarat, on the foothills of Mount Buninyong, at Scotsburn. Perched at 510 metres above sea level, the Sinclair and Scotsburn vineyards are our highest elevation sites of the four Single-Vineyard Pinots.

This vineyard is defined by quartz-rich Ordovician soils and a climate that gifts us warm days and classically brisk Ballarat nights. These conditions always result in slow ripening, firm natural acidity, and wines of precision and lift.

Planted in 1997, Sinclair has become one of our most expressive sites, consistently producing Pinot Noir with poise, bright red fruits, and a fine, chalky structure.
