"This is a lean chardonnay with excellent length and indeed complexity. Lemon, oyster shell, green herb and cedar-cream characters come lifted with mint and ginger. The citrus characters here are both fresh and preserved; there’s an excellent run of juicy, tonic-like, grapefruit-infused flavour through the finish; everything about this wine suggests that it will age well."

"Henty, we love you.
"It’s Henty for the win here. The fruit has power and flesh and then finishes long. That’s all you need to know though in flavour terms we have lemon curd and white peach, sweet pears, sprays of aromatic herbs and just enough oak to give it something extra. Straight to the pool room with this one."

"There’s power to the palate and power to the finish. This is an excellent chardonnay. It tastes of peach, steel, brine, citrus and grapefruit, with aromatic herb notes as flashes. There’s plenty of aroma – roasted nut and candied citrus characters – followed by a palate that is best described as emphatic. Top notch wine."
