Vineyard
Established in the late 1990s, this Pinot Noir vineyard is found in the Moorabool Valley sub-region of Geelong, southwest of Melbourne. The vineyard is planted in an amphitheatre-like small valley with a south-east through south-west aspect. Planted in a mixture of grey loam and basalt-derived soils over clay, the vines grow with moderate vigour.
Tasting Note
A pale and delicate pink appearance, subtly aromatic, with notes of wild strawberry, melon and tangerine. On the palate, a rounded texture gives body with a fresh, dry finish, making for a quenching drop for all occasions.
Independent Review
"100% pinot noir. Aromas of freshly picked strawberries with a dash of ruby grapefruit. The palate is flavourful and balanced and the finish is pithy and dry. A really nice wine to drink with or without food over the next one to two years."
