Our Geelong Chardonnay is grown in a vineyard planted in the late nineties and located in the Moorabool/Barwon Valley region north of Geelong. With vertical shoot positioning, rows run north-south up and over a slight rise, and the soil is mostly the black cracking clay commonly found on the volcanic plains west of Melbourne. Sections of the site have significant basalt rock content, giving depth and power.

Independent review
"There’s power to the palate and power to the finish. This is an excellent chardonnay. It tastes of peach, steel, brine, citrus and grapefruit, with aromatic herb notes as flashes. There’s plenty of aroma – roasted nut and candied citrus characters – followed by a palate that is best described as emphatic. Top notch wine." - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
